Musical Offerings is a leading professional chamber music organization in San Antonio with exceptionally diverse programming of classical, jazz and contemporary chamber music. Founded in 1983, Musical Offerings brings together the talents of musicians from varied musical environments to create a wide array of programming, concert formats, and musician participation. Because of the broad range of Musical Offerings programming and personnel, we have the opportunity to unite our talents with local organizations and participate in special community events.

With donations of the following amounts, donors will receive free Beethoven CDs, recorded by the award-winning Minnesota Orchestra (Osmo Vänskä, conductor)
- $150-$299: one Beethoven Symphony CD
- $300-$499: one Beethoven Symphony CD and one Piano Concerto CD
- $500-$999: ALL 9 Beethoven Symphonies
- $1000-up: ALL 9 Beethoven Symphonies plus one Piano Concerto CD

The opening concert, Sunday, January 15 at 3:00 PM, is an exciting event in the citywide Beethoven Festival sponsored by the San Antonio Symphony. In some sources the time and place of the concert were listed incorrectly. The starting time of the concert is 3:00 pm (not 2:00 pm) and the location is Christ Episcopal Church. By including music of composers like Schubert, Hummel and Brahms, Musical Offerings offers you a refreshing insight into the music of Beethoven and its relationship to his contemporaries of the 18th and 19th century.
