Music on the MOve: Greece and Rome
Audience members will participate in a musical tour through the Greek and Roman galleries in the SAMA Western Antiquities collections. Program features works for harp, violin, flute, cello and chamber ensemble based on themes and characters from Greek and Roman mythology.

Syrinx and Afternoon of a Faun by Claude Debussy Melodié from Orfeo ed Euridice by Christoph Willibald von Gluck 16th Century Italian Lute Pieces by various composers Sonata in G minor ‘Dido Abandoned’ by Giuseppe Tartini Heliades by Philippe Hersant Admission: Free for Members, $5 for non-members.

Performances take place in two galleries. Wear comfortable shoes. Stools will be provided for seating. Light reception will be provided between performances. |
